Doc Berg you may single handed are my main doc. Recently I was going to have an MRI with contrast scan. I think they were giving me the long costly way. I have not eaten after 5pm for about 5 weeks now. I go to bed about 9-10pm and get up about 6am. When I get back from my morning walk I have a Black Coffee and Green Tea. I don’t eat until about 1pm, so I have a 4 hour eating window and fast about 20 hours a day. I have lost about 12 lbs in these 5 weeks. What I eat is the following: I steam Beetroot, Brocolli, Kale, Spinach. Plus Watercress and either Kimchi or Sauerkraut. I cook in a pan Tomato, Onion, Shiitake Mushrooms, chopped Garlic with Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Various seeds, Chia, Flax, Sesame, Mustard, Mixed. Herbs & Spices: Turmeric, Cayenne Pepper, Cinnamon, Crushed chillies, Ground Cloves/Coriander/Ginger. Mixed Herbs, Oregano, Rosemary, Thyme, Tellicherry Black Pepper. Then I throw in 4 scrambled eggs and 4 tablespoons of Greek Yoghurt. All the above (30 odd ingredients) gets thrown in one big bowl and I eat it within my 4 hour eating window. Separate to that I have 2 or 3 out of the following 5 fruits … Kiwi, Raspberries, Blueberries, Pomegranate, Prunes. I have a mug of Creatine & Cacao, and a mug of Bone Broth. For some extra protein I have a tin or Salmon or Sardines and a scoop of Protein Powder with Semi skimmed Milk, and I try and have 2-3 litres of water a day.
Add Broccoli Sprouts to your salads they have nearly 100 times more sulforaphane—the powerful antioxidant compound often referenced—than mature broccoli florets.
Freezing sprouts can further increase the sulforaphane yield by 1.5 to 2.1 foldscompared to fresh sprouts, because the freezing process ruptures cell walls and enhances myrosinase enzyme activity.
Why Freezing Helps: The enzyme myrosinase converts glucoraphanin into sulforaphane when the plant’s cell walls are damaged (chewed, blended, or frozen). Freezing causes ice crystals to rupture cell walls naturally, bringing the precursor and enzyme together more effectively.
I’m a Stage2B IDC breast cancer Thriver since 1-2-19 and I gave learned alot including the Positive benefits of Sulforaphane in Prevention of cancer’s!
